We are pleased to have confirmed the date for the first of 4x stakeholder engagement and co-creation events planned by the West Country Water Resources Group this summer – it’s called ‘Managing the West Country's Water Resources - Challenges & Solutions’ and it’s on 23rd June from 9:30-11:30am.
This region-wide online workshop is the first in a series of events this summer to introduce the challenges we face for water resources management in the West Country region over the coming years and to begin exploring how we can all work together to design and deliver solutions.
Over the coming months, we will also be working with local stakeholders to co-develop catchment action plans in five catchments across the West Country Region: the Tamar, East Devon, the Poole Harbour Catchment, the Dorset Stour and Bristol Avon. We really hope that the catchment partnerships will be willing/able to play a key leadership role in these discussions.
It would be great if you are able to attend and get involved in the discussion. You can register your place here - https://events.eventzilla.net/e/managing-the-west-countrys-water-resources--challenges--solutions-2138581692
I would also be very grateful if you could circulate this invitation to anyone else in your organisations or Catchment Partnerships that you think might be interested, as we are very keen to get as wide an array of West Country stakeholders involved in this process as possible.
